Admission policy of Swat Medical College is formulated in compliance with PMC admission regulation 2021-22. Any student seeking admission to Swat Medical College shall fulfill the following eligibility criteria for admission.
a)Must have passed the MDCAT examination conducted by the National Medical Authority;
b)Obtained a Higher Secondary School Certificate qualification ("HSSC") or an equivalent 12th grade qualification recognized in Pakistan and having obtained more than sixty five percent marks therein, or a higher percentage as may be notified by the Medical and Dental Council; and
c)Passed the subjects of biology and chemistry and either physics or mathematics in the examination of the Higher Secondary School Certificate or an equivalent 12th grade qualification recognized in Pakistan:
Merit Calculation Criteria
Admissions to Swat Medical College are strictly on merit. Merit at Swat Medical College will be calculated as following.
Only science subjects i.e. Biology, Chemistry and Physics / Mathematics will be considered for calculation of F.Sc. / HSSC marks.
Only the candidates, who make it to the merit list will be considered for admission.
Successful candidates are required to deposit the admission fee within 72 hours, otherwise, the candidate will forfeit his/her chance of admission. Refund policy shall be according to PMC Rules.
In case final merit of more than one candidate is equal up to four decimals, the candidate older in age shall stand higher in merit
Procedure for application:
Final merit list of student applied to Swat Medical College will be displayed on December 13, 2021.
The final merit list displayed will represent an offer by the college on the basis of their merit. Any student not accepting the offer will enable the next student in the merit list to avail the offer.
Successful candidates (on the basis of merit) will have 3 working days to submit their fee. Which will represent the acceptance of their offer.
All students must have COVID-19 and Hepatitis B Vaccination.
